CPx5 Upgrade for CPU systems

The CPx5 upgrade is a path to replace the battery managed non-volitile memory on the CPU card with permanent flash memory. As well all features and incremental improvements of the CPx5 system are included.

This CPx5 card

replaces the CPU card and the AtoD card. Connect the wires that were on the AtoD card directly to the CXx5 card at the 12 position green connector labeled Swell Pedals

This upgrade requires the use of potentiometers on the expression shoes, we suggest these string pots as they are very easy to install

All micro-processors on the console Input and Output cards have to be exchanged with versions dated below. If expression potentiometers were added, then the micro-processor on the Output card in the pipe chamber that drives the swell motor will have to be exchanged with these new versions too.
